| Topics: | Applications of Integrals,
including volumes of revolution, surface area, and arc length; transcendental functions;
techniques of integration; indeterminate forms and improper integrals; infinite sequences
and series; and polar coordinates. (This is essentially the material
in sections 6.1 - 6.4, 7.1 - 7.7, chapters 8, 9, 10, and sections 12.6 -

| Grade: | There will be three in-class exams and a final. The in-class exams
will each count 20% of the final grade and the final exam will comprise
30% of the final
grade. There will also be graded homework problems worth 10% of the grade.
There will be a Derive (symbolic computer algebra) component on each of the exams.
