Topics:

We will explore object oriented programming using the Visual Age Smalltalk programming environment. We will study the notion of programming by extension, rather than programming by re-invention.

Grade:

There will be a number of programming projects worth 35% of the grade. There will be a mid-term worth 25% of the grade and a final worth 40% of the grade.

Office hours:

Monday and Thursday 12:30 - 2:00 and by appointment
